Spiral Starfish Woodburning - Whimsical Wood Burnings - Whimsical Wood Burned Art - Whimsical Pyrography

Have you ever wished upon a spiral starfish? This whimsical wood burning is made of plywood and the original shape is what I would call a hippie style flower. I love flowers, but I wanted to try something different. So I wood burned this groovy and whimsical starfish design onto the wood then painted it using watered down acrylic paints in a wash style.

Part of the wood burning can be described as a negative wood burned style meaning the dark brown areas have been wood burned. The starfish and spiral designs have not been burned into the wood. The edges of the plaque are painted using sienna brown.

Measuring 11 1/2" across x 1/4" thick this fun and whimsical wood burned wall art has been varnished for protection and comes to you ready to hang. Any questions please let me know! Thanks for looking!
